Abstract The axial flux permanent-magnet synchronous motor with amorphous alloy stators has the advantages of high power density, efficiency, large starting torque. But PMSM poor performance in heat resistant and radiation. And electromagnetic loss a significant impact on in-wheel motor’s generation. To demonstrate influence winding coils PMSM, mathematical model thermal transformation was founded to illustrate progress temperature rising. experimental test were verified mutually. prototype manufactured tested, including output braking energy recovery model. performed working low rotation speed mode middle separately, when revolving increased by 50% raise approximately 23.5%. Further, analytic formulas results consistent each other approximately, which analysis method value.
